My name is Dr. Gaurav Jain. I’m an Ottawa-based physician who offers in-office procedures across the city, including skin lesion removals, joint injections, and women’s health services. My goal is simple: make procedures accessible, affordable, and comfortable, without compromising on quality.
I’ve always loved doing procedures. Whether it’s removing a skin lesion, placing a contraceptive implant, or injecting a joint to ease pain - I believe that medicine should be comprehensive and compassionate.
I started my procedures clinic because I was frustrated seeing people wait months or get priced out of care they deserve. I trained in rural Ontario with incredible mentors, doctors who had to do everything, and do it well. I've carried that same spirit with me in my work today.
Every patient I see is treated as a person, not a number. I take the time to ensure excellent freezing, minimize pain, and provide clear aftercare. When I heard that music helps with stress, I made a rule that we play your favorite song while we work!
Medicine is personal, and your care should be too.
I don’t believe anyone should feel like “just another patient.” I take time before every procedure to sit down, explain everything in plain language, and make sure we’re on the same page. Sometimes that means reviewing questions a second time; sometimes it means pulling up a favorite playlist and turning the procedure into something almost relaxing. My goal is for every person to feel respected, safe, and genuinely cared for, from the first moment, to the last stitch.

When someone reaches out to me, it often means they’ve already been waiting too long—or struggling to find care that fits their needs. I do my best to offer quick access, flexible locations across Ottawa, and even after-hours consults when it matters most. I once brought in a patient at 7:00 p.m. because they needed emergency contraception and couldn’t find anyone else to help. It’s not about bending over backward—it’s about doing what I’d want done for my family.

Accessable and Affordable
Working in rural and hospital settings taught me to do a lot with very little. I learned directly from seasoned generalists and surgeons—doctors who needed to treat the whole person, no matter what walked through the door. I now bring that same standard to my procedures, whether it’s excising a mole with precision or freezing a joint for pain relief. I love being able to do hands-on work while also talking, reassuring, and genuinely connecting with the person in front of me.
“The procedure is the easy part—what matters most is the trust.”
