Digital Radiography

Redtree Dental is committed to using the latest in technologies to ensure our patients are exposed to minimal radiation and exposure. By using digital radiography patients will receive 50% less x-ray exposure than conventional film x-rays. The image appears almost instantaneously which will save time for the patient as there is no need to wait around to find out if the images are acceptable. Digital radiography is also great for the environment as we are able to eliminate the use of processing chemicals. This provides you as a patient and the staff at Redtree Dental a cleaner, safer environment.

Digital Intra-Oral Camera

Dr. Jain wants you to feel comfortable with the treatment she recommends for you, and this tiny wand-shaped camera helps her show you what is happening in your mouth. It instantly transmits a clear, detailed image of individual teeth onto the computer screen so you can see what she sees and can better understand your dental needs. It is also an excellent tool for monitoring situations which may progress over time as the images are stored in your file.

Preventative Oral Hygiene

A hygiene appointment is an opportunity for our office to evaluate the condition of your teeth and gums to ensure that any subtle changes over time are detected. Our hygienist, Ranjit, will provide you with the best periodontal care, tailoring the program and frequency of dental visits to your individual needs. These visits coupled with thorough home care are the best strategy for achieving and maintaining excellence in oral health. Our hygiene appointments include a medical history update, digital images and photos when required, and a thorough screening exam for oral cancer, gum disease, bone health, bite abnormalities and overall tooth health.

Invisalign

Many adults would like their teeth straightened but prefer not to go through the traditional treatment of braces. Invisalign is a series of clear retainers that align your teeth. Invisalign can treat many common issues such as crowding, crooked teeth, widely spaced teeth, overbites, and cross bites. It is a virtually invisible option for getting straighter teeth. The other advantage of Invisalign is that you are able to take out the aligners to eat, drink, brush and floss so these activities are not inhibited during treatment.

Implants

Are an artificial tooth root that Dr.Jain places into your jaw bone to hold a replacement tooth, bridge or denture. Dental implants are natural looking and feeling and more tooth saving than traditional bridgework since they don't rely on neighbouring teeth for support. The success of implants is highly predictable, esthetically pleasing, tooth saving and the ideal option for tooth replacement.

Porcelain Veneers

Are thin but very durable porcelain shells that cover the front side and biting edge of your teeth. They are used to restore the proper proportions to front teeth that are too small, chipped or worn down, cover discolourations or fill in small gaps. The teeth are minimally prepared by removing a very thin layer of enamel which the porcelain will be bonded to. Veneers are fabricated in the lab and are cemented at a second appointment. As with all dental treatment, maintenance of veneers requires good oral hygiene and regular professional cleanings.

Onlays

A dental onlay is similar to a filling but is a much more long term restoration that is fabricated in a lab and cemented at a second appointment. An onlay restoration covers, protects and reinforces one or more cusps of a tooth. The advantages of an onlay are that they are durable, long lasting, natural looking (unless in gold), and the material used does not stain. The affected tooth is well sealed and protected from further deterioration.

Crowns

When a tooth is broken or severely damaged or decayed, a crown would be placed to reinforce the strength of the tooth as well as the appearance of your smile. A crown is built around the remaining healthy tooth structure to improve the function of the area.

BOTOX

Is both a cosmetic and functional product which is used to decrease frown lines, forehead lines, crow's feet and muscle tension in the jaw muscles. It is a safe and effective treatment that has no down time and is quick and simple. BOTOX gives facial lines a soft lift to achieve a pleasing and refreshed look. When administered by a professional like Dr.Jain you will feel rejuvenated while looking natural and balanced.

Soft Tissue Laser

Is used for recontouring gums, treating canker sores and cold sores and improving the comfort of common dental procedures. Procedures done with the laser have many benefits such as faster healing, minimal bleeding and less swelling, and are less invasive, more time efficient and most of all, safe.

Night Guards

Are a high performance, long term, removable custom made clear hard acrylic appliance that is indicated for people who suffer from tension headaches or have damaged teeth from grinding and clenching. People who show evidence of a stressful bite are candidates for a night guard. We live longer and keep more of our teeth than ever before so protecting our teeth from insidious wear or subtle cracking has become very important.

Sports Guards

Are a plastic guard that covers your teeth and prevents costly and traumatic injuries. At Redtree Dental we always recommend custom-made sports guards as they are proven to offer the highest level of protection and are the most comfortable. Chipping, fracture and displacement of a tooth can be prevented by regularly wearing a sports guard.

Bleaching Trays

Are custom and accurate trays that allow ideal distribution of the whitening agent over the surfaces of your teeth so you can achieve optimal whitening. They are the most comfortable and effective method of whitening, and can be used repeatedly. Here at Redtree Dental we have the newest lab equipment allowing us to make the most accurate, long-lasting trays which will allow you to achieve the whitest, brightest smile.

Root Canals

Dr. Jain has invested in the best equipment to assist her with achieving optimal disinfection and filling of the inside of the tooth, the requirements of a successful treatment. She also has a knack for choosing the proper anesthetics and a gentle touch so you needn't worry about discomfort during your root canal treatment.

Mini Implants

Are the ideal option for people wearing dentures as they dramatically improve retention and comfort. Having a mini implant is virtually pain free with very little down time. They are the ideal option for patients with compromised dentition who are not candidates for regular implants because of limited bony support or financial situation.

Tooth Jewels

Are a temporary fun way of enhancing your smile without affecting your natural teeth. Without drilling the tooth a small diamond is placed on the front side of the tooth. Tooth jewels give your smile that extra sparkle. Pair a tooth jewel with some whitening and your smile will be bright, white and sparkly!
